What Is a Property Sale POA?
A Property Sale Power of Attorney is a notarized special POA that authorizes your agent to sell a specific property and complete the transfer before Dubai Land Department (DLD) on behalf of the owner.
Dubai Land Department does not normally accept a general POA for selling real estate. The POA must specifically identify the property and include clear authority to sell it.
Precise wording is essential. A general POA or unclear drafting may be rejected at the Trustee Centre. We prepare the POA with the DLD-required wording and property details to reduce rejection risk.
Important — sale proceeds: DLD transfer practice may require the sale proceeds cheque to be issued in the name of the registered owner. The POA should clearly state whether the agent may receive proceeds or whether payment should go directly to the owner.

The POA can include authority for the agent to receive proceeds, or the proceeds may be paid directly to the owner. We help select the safer wording for your case.
Can the POA be prepared using only a passport?

Is this POA suitable for a property owner outside the UAE?
Yes. It is commonly used by property owners outside Dubai who need an agent to complete the sale locally.
How much does a Property Sale POA cost?
It starts from AED 630 for in-person notarization and AED 1,260 for online notarization, subject to the stated terms and conditions.
