What Is a Vehicle Export POA?
A Vehicle Export Power of Attorney is a notarized special POA authorizing your agent to complete all procedures required to export a specific vehicle outside the UAE.
This includes obtaining the RTA export certificate, cancelling the vehicle registration, handling customs clearance and coordinating with the shipping company.
The process can be handled while you are outside the UAE. Your agent can obtain the export certificate, surrender original plates, collect temporary export plates and coordinate customs and shipping.

- Receive “to whom it may concern” certificates after export where needed
Before export: Traffic fines and Salik dues should be cleared, and any bank mortgage should be released through a clearance letter. Temporary export plates are valid for a short period and are used for export-related movement only.
